Why are people still talking about tort reform?
I keep hearing people, always conservatives, talking about “tort reform” as if it would solve the massive increase in American health care costs. What’s wrong with these people? Now that we know that “tort reform” was nothing but a PR scam started by the tobacco and asbestos industries,

and that most states ALREADY have these laws on the books, and that we’re talking about less than 2% of our total medical costs anyway for ALL costs related to judgments and medical liability insurance,

Why is anyone still talking about this?
B S You can’t solve the problems with health care by only attending to part of them.
